The Bible: Nothing Can Compare!!

A short Bible study to encourage your love and respect for God's Word. #BibleStudy #Bible

As an introduction to this study, please read One of a Kind Book, a devotion that shares 15 facts about God's Word.

Here are 3 of those facts:

📌 The Bible ends with a very fitting last word:
Revelation 22:21: "The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God's people. Amen."  Read more about that word: Why We Say "Amen."

📌The Bible is alive, God-breathed:
Hebrews 4:12: For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

2 Timothy 3:16: All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,

📌The Bible is perfect, eternal:
Psalm 12:6: And the words of the LORD are flawless, like silver purified in a crucible, like gold refined seven times.

Psalm 119:89: Your word, LORD, is eternal; it stands firm in the heavens.

Now for a short Bible study:

A short Bible study to encourage your love and respect for God's Word. #BibleStudy #Bible
1. Read Psalm 19:7-11 and list the characteristics and benefits of God's Word (His law, precepts, statutes, commands, decrees).

Hopefully, this brief exercise will help you appreciate aspects of God's Word you never thought about before.

7 The law of the Lord is perfect, refreshing the soul.
The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple.
8 The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart.
The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes.
9 The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever.
The decrees of the Lord are firm, and all of them are righteous.
10 They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold;
they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the honeycomb.
11 By them your servant is warned;
in keeping them there is great reward.

2. Ponder the meaning of Matthew 4:4.
Take a few moments to think about the meaning and ask yourself if your life reflects this truth.

"Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”

  2. The only book we ever need is the HOLY SCRIPTURES, the BIBLE. It has so many good advice to teach from young to the old. From respact, to honor, from hearted to love, to be healthy in body and mind. People think it is an Old Book, yes it was written many years ago, but it is not out of date to look in to it. Many interesting, up building stories. It is perhaps the best way to read it by Starting with the NEW TESTAMENT.
    One will be surprised what they can find. God bless all those who take it and read it. Never too late to learn new things, do not matter how Old you are. AMEN. ❤️❗️
